Cafodd James ei eni a'i fagu yn Rhydaman. Cwblhaodd BSc mewn Biocemeg ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, yna hyfforddodd fel athro Ysgol Uwchradd. Bu'n addysgu Cemeg am ddeng mlynedd yn Llanfyllin a Chroesoswallt. Ymunodd James â Thîm yr Esgobaeth ym mis Ebrill 2020 ar ôl gadael Ysgol y Gororau yng Nghroesoswallt fel Pennaeth Cynorthwyol a Chyfarwyddwr Gwyddoniaeth.

Hyfforddodd James ar gyfer y weinidogaeth ordeiniedig trwy Athrofa Padarn Sant ac mae'n gwasanaethu fel Offeiriad Cyswllt yn Ardal Genhadaeth Offa, yn Esgobaeth Llanelwy.

Cymraeg

James was born and brought up in Ammanford, completed a BSc in Biochemistry at Cardiff University, then trained as a Secondary School teacher. He taught Chemistry for ten years in both Llanfyllin and Oswestry. James joined the Diocesan Team in April of 2020 having left the Marches School in Oswestry as Associate Assistant Headteacher and Director of Science.

James trained for ordained ministry through Saint Padarn’s Institute and also serves as Associate Priest in the Offa Mission Area, in the Diocese of Saint Asaph.
