Tra bod mesurau’r Llywodraeth a gyhoeddwyd heno gan y Prif Weinidog ac a gymeradwywyd gan Brif Weinidog Cymru yn ddigynsail, maent wedi’u cynllunio’n benodol ar gyfer iechyd a lles pobl ein cymunedau a’n cenedl. Rydym yn ddiamod yn annog pawb i ddilyn y cyfarwyddiadau a roddwyd.
Bydd datganiad llawn a chyngor pellach yn dilyn cyn gynted â phosibl ond, yn y cyfamser, gofynnwn ichi barhau i weddïo ac i gynnal yn eich gofal cariadus aelodau bregus ein cymunedau.
Er ein bod ar wasgar ac yn bryderus, rhaid bod yn gryf a chadarn wrth wneud popeth a ofynnir ohonom ar adeg mor dyngedfennol.

The Archbishop of Wales's statement on new government measures
Whilst the Government measures announced this evening by the Prime Minister and endorsed by the First Minister of Wales are unprecedented, they are specifically designed for the health and well-being of the people of our communities and nation. We unreservedly urge everyone to follow the instructions given.
A fuller statement and further advice will follow as soon as possible but, in the meantime we ask you to continue in your prayers and in your love and care for vulnerable members of our communities.
Even though we are apart and inevitably anxious, we must remain strong and resolute in doing all that is asked of us at such a critical time.
