The arrival of a children, the beginning of a marriage and the loss of someone known and loved are all huge moments in people’s lives – and they are moments the Church makes connection around a special service of baptism, wedding or funerals. Rigorous research in the Church of England has given fresh insights and led to the development of resources that encourage the Church as it builds relationships and develops contact through the occasional offices, and then enables people to continue on a journey of faith.
