Daeth Peter Pike yn Archddiacon Maldwyn ym mis Hydref 2012. Ymunodd ag Esgobaeth Llanelwy o Esgobaeth Efrog, lle bu'n gwasanaethu mewn pedair eglwys i'r dwyrain o Bridlington ym Mywoliaeth Headland. Mae Peter hefyd wedi gwasanaethu yn Esgobaeth Blackburn fel offeiriad plwyf a deon bro. Cyn ei ordeinio, bu'n dysgu plant ag anghenion addysgol arbennig. Mae diddordebau Peter yn cynnwys darllen barddoniaeth, ffuglen a bywgraffiadau Americanaidd yn ogystal ag angerdd am rygbi

Yn dilyn magwraeth ar Ynys Môn, dechreuodd waith Siôn dros yr Eglwys mewn nifer o blwyfi Anglicanaidd yng nghanol Llundain. Yn ddiweddarach, fe wasanaethodd fel Ysgrifennydd Cyffredinol Cytûn, sefydliad ecwmenaidd cenedlaethol Cymru, cyn cael ei benodi yn rhan o dîm cydlynu cenedlaethol yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd ym Mhrydain. Yno, bu’n gyfrifol am ddatblygiad gweinidogaethol, addysg ddiwinyddol a sawl prosiect rhwydwaith mewnol arwyddocaol, yng nghyd-destun newid corfforaethol sylweddol. Dychwelodd Siôn i Ogledd Cymru fel Ysgrifennydd yr Esgobaeth yn niwedd 2013.

Peter Pike became the Archdeacon of Montgomery in October 2012. He joined the Diocese of St Asaph from the Diocese of York where he has served in four village churches east of Bridlington in the Headland Benefice. Peter has also served in the Diocese of Blackburn as a parish priest and rural dean. Prior to ordination he taught children with special educational needs. Peter’s interests include reading poetry, American fiction and biographies as well as a passion for rugby.

A native of Anglesey, Siôn’s work for the Church began in several central London Anglican parishes. He subsequently served as Assistant General Secretary of Cytûn, Wales’s national ecumenical organisation, before taking up an appointment within the national coordinating team of the Methodist Church in Britain. There he was responsible for ministerial development, theological education and several significant infrastructure projects, within a context of significant organisational change. Siôn returned to north Wales as Diocesan Secretary at the end of 2013.
