Susan Thomas

Magwyd Susan ym Mhorthmadog ble yr addysgwyd hi ar lefel cynradd yn ysgol Borth y Gest ac ar lefel uwchradd yn Ysgol Eifionydd, Porthmadog cyn mynd i Goleg Meirionnydd yn Nolgellau i astudio Astudiaethau Busnes. Yn dilyn hyn, fe weithiodd Susan ym Mhorthmadog am naw mlynedd cyn priodi a symud i Fangor yn 1986. Mi wnaeth wedyn gael swydd gyda Dwr Cymru lle bu yn gweithio am bedair blynedd ar ddeg tan 2000 a dilynwyd hyn gyda saith mlynedd gyda’r Ganolfan Genedlaethol Addysg Grefyddol ym Mhrifysgol Cymru Bangor cyn symud yn 2007 i’w swydd bresenol fel Cynorthwyydd Personol i’r Esgob, ble mae ei chyfrifoldebau yn cynnwys trefnu dyddiadur yr Esgob, cynnal gofynion y swyddfa a gwaith ymchwil.

Mae gan Susan, sydd yn briod ac Emyr, dau fab, ac yn ei hamser sbâr mae hi yn mwynhau darllen, coginio, chwaraeon a theithio, yn bennaf i’r Eidal.

Susan Thomas

Susan was brought up in Porthmadog where she was educated at primary level in Borth y Gest and then at secondary level at Ysgol Eifionydd, Porthmadog before going to Coleg Meirionnydd in Dolgellau to study Business Studies. Following this, Susan worked in Porthmadog for nine years before getting married and moving to Bangor in 1986. She then secured a post with Welsh Water where she worked for fourteen years until 2000 followed by seven years with the Welsh National Centre for Religious Education at the University of Wales Bangor before moving in 2007 to her current post as Bishop’s Personal Assistant, where her duties include organising the Bishop’s diary, maintaining the demands of the office and research work.

Susan, who is married to Emyr, have two sons and in her spare time enjoys reading, cooking, sports and travelling, mainly to Italy.
