Arweinydd Cymuned Arloesol

Swydd allweddol fel rhan o'n prosiect Llan

Pioneer Community Leader

A key post as part of the Llan project

Dyddiad cau / Deadline: 07/10/2020, noon

Llan

Mae “Llan” yn brosiect saith mlynedd, gwerth £3m, a fydd yn gweld gweinidogaethau newydd yn datblygu ledled yr esgobaeth, wrth i ni ganolbwyntio ar estyn allan mewn ffyrdd newydd i’n cymunedau gyda chariad Duw yng Nghrist.

Bydd Llan yn ein galluogi i ddatblygu ein gweinidogaeth bererindod ym mhob cwr o’r esgobaeth, i dyfu cymuned eglwysig Gymraeg newydd a datblygu adnoddau efengylaidd yn Gymraeg, ac i lansio pedair menter gymdeithasol a fydd yn arloesi math newydd o bresenoldeb a thsytiolaethu Anglicanaidd mewn pedair o'n trefi a'n pentrefi. Cewch ddarllen mwy am Llan yma.

Ffrwd Iaith Llan

Ein gobaith yw y bydd buddsoddi mewn gweinidogaeth Gymraeg yn hwb efengylaidd obeithiol a sylweddol i’n canolbwynt strategol o ddatblygu gweinidogaethau newydd.

Môn a Gwynedd (y ddwy sir sy'n cwmpasu'r rhan fwyaf o diriogaeth Esgobaeth Bangor) yw'r unig ddwy sir yng Nghymru lle mae dros 50% o'r trigolion yn gallu siarad, darllen ac ysgrifennu Cymraeg.

Mae yna heriau, gan nad oes yna adnoddau Anglicanaidd cyson, Cymraeg, i gefnogi dysgu, addoli ac arloesi. Er fod yna lawer o gyrsiau a deunydd Saesneg ar gael yn hawdd, mae yna lawer llai ar gael yn y Gymraeg, o bob traddodiad Cristnogol, sy'n golygu mai dim ond ychydig o adnodau addas, cyfoes a sensitif sydd ar gael i gefnogi gweinidogaeth Anglicanaidd Gymraeg.

Mae ffrwd Iaith Llan yn rhagweld datblygu mynegiant newydd, ffres, drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg yn y gymuned Gymraeg ei hiaith yn yr esgobaeth. Seilir y prosiect ar y model o fynegiant newydd sy’n dechrau gyda grŵp bychan, arloesol a fydd yn cychwyn ar ei weinidogaeth drwy wasanaethu a gwrando ar gymuned. Y grŵp arloesol hwn fydd y cnewyllyn cyntaf o bobl a fydd â’r egni i weithio ar, a datblygu, model newydd o fynegiant.

Mae ffrwd Iaith Llan yn rhagweld cyfuno mynegiant Cymraeg, newydd o Eglwys, ar y cyd â ffurfio cymuned breswyl "blwyddyn i ffwrdd" o Gymorthyddion Efengylaidd sy’n siarad Cymraeg. Gan ddysgu o lwyddiant cynlluniau Cymorthyddion Bugeiliol Eglwys Loegr, rhagwelir y bydd yna rhwng tri a phump o unigolion, sy’n ystyried eu dyfodol ac yn ystyried hefyd eu galwedigaeth i’r weinidogaeth Anglicanaidd, yn cael llety a chyflog am ddeuddeg mis er mwyn cyfannu a chymryd rhan mewn gweinidogaeth efengylaidd, flaengar trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg yn yr Eglwys yng Nghymru. Mae’r elfen hon yn rhan o ymrwymiad ehangach i feithrin galwadau ymysg siaradwyr a dysgwyr Cymraeg i’r offeiriadaeth ordeiniedig a gweinidogaethau trwyddedig eraill.

Bydd ffrwd Iaith Llan yn talu sylw i brinder adnoddau dysgu, addoli ac arloesi Cymraeg drwy alluogi datblygu adnoddau deniadol, o ansawdd da, Cymraeg ar gyfer efengylu, wedi'u targedu'n benodol at y grŵp 20-40 oed.

Llan

“Llan” is a £3m, seven-year project that will see the development of new ministries across the diocese focused on reaching out in new ways to our communities with the love of God in Christ.

Llan will enable us to develop our pilgrimage ministry across the diocese, to grow a new Welsh-language church community and to develop Welsh-language evangelistic resources, and to launch four social enterprises pioneering a new sort of Anglican presence and witness in four of our towns and villages. You can read more about Llan here.

The Language stream of Llan

Investment in Welsh-language ministry has the potential to deliver a hopeful and substantial evangelistic boost to our strategic priority of growing new ministries.

Anglesey and Gwynedd (the two counties that cover the vast majority of the Diocese of Bangor’s territory) are the only two counties in Wales in which over 50% of residents can speak, read and write in Welsh.

There are challenges presented by the absence of consistent Welsh-language Anglican resources to support learning, worship and innovation. Whereas a number of English- language courses and materials are easily available, far fewer are available in Welsh from across all Christian traditions, meaning that only a limited supply of appropriate, current, sensitive resources is available to support Welsh-language Anglican ministry.

The Language stream of Llan envisages a Welsh-language fresh expression of Church being developed in a Welsh-speaking community in the diocese. The project is based on the emergent fresh expressions model that starts with a small pioneer group that begins its ministry by serving and listening to a community. This pioneer group provides an initial core of people with energy to work through the development of the fresh expressions model.

The Language stream of Llan envisages combining the development of a Welsh-language fresh expression of Church with the formation of a small “gap year” residential community of Welsh-speaking Evangelist Assistants. Drawing on the success of the Pastoral Assistant schemes in the Church of England, it is envisaged that between three and five individuals, discerning their future and potentially exploring their vocation for Anglican ministry, are accommodated and salaried for twelve months so that they might encounter and contribute to an evangelistic and pioneeringly-focused Welsh-language ministry of the Church in Wales. This component sits alongside a broader commitment to nurture vocations among Welsh-speakers and Welsh-language learners to ordained and other licensed ministries.

The Language stream of Llan also seeks to address the lack of contemporary Welsh- language learning, worship and innovation resources by enabling the development of engaging, high-quality, Welsh-language resources for evangelism, particularly targeted at the 20-40 age group.
