Neges oddi wrth Esgob Bangor
Annwyl gyfeillion
Mae’r wythnos hon wedi’i dynodi’n Wythnos Ffoaduriaid a bydd nifer o sefydliadau’n gweithio i dynnu ein sylw at un o’r heriau modern mwyaf sy’n ein hwynebu. Hyd yn oed yr wythnos hon, bu farw llawer mewn cwch mudol oddi ar arfordir Gwlad Groeg ac roedd hyn yn cynnwys llawer o blant. Dim ond colli bywyd y mae trasiedi eu cyflwr yn cael ei ragori.
Mae’n gyfrifoldeb priodol ar bob llywodraeth i reoli eu ffiniau ac ymateb i fudo. Serch hynny mae ein ffydd fel Cristnogion yn arwain at ofalu am y bregus ac i sicrhau parch tuag at y rhai sy’n ceisio lloches. Gan fod Cymru'n Genedl Noddfa mae hyn yn ein hymrwymo i ddarparu diogelwch i'r rhai sydd angen cymorth. A gaf fi ofyn ichi wneud y mater hwn yn ffocws yn eich Ardal Weinidogaeth eich hun yn yr wythnosau nesaf a chynnwys ffoaduriaid yn eich gweddïau?
Gwerthfawrogir eich cefnogaeth yn fawr.
Yng Nghrist,
+Andrew Cambrensis

Ymdrechion newydd i Wcráin
Mae Cymorth Cristnogol wedi adnewyddu eu hapêl frys am yr Wcrain ar ôl i lifogydd orfodi miloedd o bobl i adael eu cartrefi ar ôl i argae Nova Kakhovka gael ei ddinistrio.
Nid yw effaith lawn y dŵr yn codi ar hyd dwy ochr yr afon Dnipro rheng flaen i'w gweld eto ond mae'r Cenhedloedd Unedig yn ofni y gallai fod yn drychineb amgylcheddol.

The Second Sunday after Trinity
This Sunday and through the week we pray for
Bro Madryn
In particular we pray for:
- the ministry team: the Revd Kevin Ellis (Ministry Area Leader), the Revd Helen Franklin (curate), Carol Roberts (priest), Catrin Roberts (commissioned minister) and Joe Worthington (Reader Emeritus)
- outreach to children and families, particularly Teulu Twt and Messy Church
- the schools in the area, the links with them, and especially for Ysgol Pont y Gof and the headteacher (Bethan Jones)
- the increased opportunities for mission during the summer months with so many extra people in the area
- Caffi Manna, an opportunity to provide a meal for those who need it every Thursday evening
- clarity of vision, there are so many good opportunities that they would hear from God as one congregation as they go forward together

A message from the Bishop of Bangor
Dear friends
This week has been designated as Refugee Week and numerous organisations will be working to draw our attention to one of the greatest modern challenges we face. Even this week, many died in a migrant boat off the coast of Greece and this included many children. The tragedy of their plight is only surpassed by the loss of life.
It is a proper responsibility of all governments to manage their borders and respond to migration. However our faith as Christians leads to care for the vulnerable and to ensure respect for those seeking asylum. Because Wales is a Nation of Sanctuary this commits us to providing safety for those who need help. May I ask you to make this issue a focus in your own Ministry Area in the weeks ahead and to include refugees in your prayers?
Your support is greatly appreciated.
In Christ,
+Andrew Cambrensis

Blessing Ysgol Santes Dwynwen
Ysgol Santes Dwynwen in Newborough, Anglesey has been teaching children since 2019 but, due to the pandemic, has had to wait until now to be blessed.
During the celebration the altar-table which was given to the school by the Diocese of Bangor was consecrated with oil. Love Spoons made in the shape of the school’s logo were blessed and distributed to each of the children, farewells were made to 4 members of staff and the school anthem, which was written by the children and staff, was sung.

Renewed efforts for Ukraine
Christian Aid have renewed their emergency appeal for Ukraine after floods have forced thousands of people to leave their homes after the Nova Kakhovka dam was destroyed.
The full impact of rising water along both sides of the frontline Dnipro river has yet to be seen but the UN fears it could be an environmental disaster.
