Annwyl gyfeillion,
Ysgrifennaf heddiw i roi gwybod ichi fod ein Hesgob Cynorthwyol, Esgob Mary wedi’i ethol yn Esgob nesaf Llandaf. Yr ydym, wrth gwrs, yn hynod falch o hyn a chan ein bod yn llawenhau fod y coleg wedi dirnad yr alwad i ddeheudir ein Talaith yr ydym, serch hynny, yn teimlo y boen o ffarwelio â hi. Byddwn yn gallu rhoi mwy o fanylion maes o law am sut olwg fydd ar y misoedd nesaf ond, yn y cyfamser, gwn y byddwch yn ymuno â mi i longyfarch yr Esgob Mary ac i ddiolch iddi am bopeth y mae hi wedi’i ddwyn i’n bywyd yn gyntaf fel Archddiacon dros 5 mlynedd a hefyd fel Esgob am bron i flwyddyn. Cymeradwywn hi i ras Duw a gweddïwn drosti ac dros Andrew wrth inni baratoi i’w rhoi i’n chwaer Esgobaeth, Llandaf.

Dear friends,
I am writing today to inform you that Bishop Mary has been elected as the next Bishop of Llandaff. We are, of course, enormously proud of this and as we rejoice that the college has discerned the call to the south of our Province we, nonetheless , feel the pain of saying farewell to her. We will be able to give more details in due course about what the next few months will look like but, in the meantime, I know you will join me in congratulating Bishop Mary and in thanking her for all that she has brought to our life firstly as an Archdeacon over 5 years and also as a Bishop for nearly a year. We commend her to God’s grace and we pray for her and for Andrew as we prepare to give them to our sister Diocese, Llandaff.
