Caryl Owen
Caryl sy’n gyfrifol am sicrhau rheolaeth ariannol effeithiol ac effeithlon o gronfeydd Cyngor yr Esgobaeth, gan gynnwys cronfeydd Bwrdd Cyllid yr Esgobaeth ac Ymddiriedolaeth Esgobaeth Bangor.
Magwyd Caryl ym mhentref Bodedern ar Ynys Môn, lle mynychodd ysgolion cynradd ac uwchradd y cylch. Astudiodd Gyfrifyddiaeth a Chyllid ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, gan ennill gradd dosbarth cyntaf yng Ngorffennaf 2010. Bythefnos yn ddiweddarach, dechreuodd weithio yn Nhŷ Deiniol.
Pan fo hi’n rhydd o waith swyddfa, mwynhad Caryl ydy’r nifer o ferlod Shetland sydd eiddo iddi hi a’r teulu. Sefydlwyd stablau, Gre Edern, ym 1989 ac mae bellach yn un o’r mwyaf yng Nghymru. Mae hi hefyd yn mwynhau teithiau car yn ystod misoedd yr haf yng nghar clasurol ei gŵr – Mini lliw oren yn dyddio o 1979.
Caryl Owen
Caryl is responsible for the effective and efficient financial management of the funds of the Diocesan Council, including those of the Diocesan Board of Finance and the Bangor Diocesan Trust.
Caryl was brought up in the village of Bodedern on Anglesey, where she attended both the primary and secondary school. She then went on to Bangor University to study Accounting & Finance, graduating in July 2010 with a first class degree. Two weeks later she began to work at Tŷ Deiniol.
When not in the office, Caryl enjoys spending time with the many Shetland ponies she and her family have. Their stud, Gre Edern, was established in 1989 and has now become one of the largest in Wales. She also enjoys drives in the summer months in her husband’s classic 1979 orange mini.
