Join us on Sunday 1st December at 11am as we welcome the Cross of Wales to Saint Deiniol's Cathedral during a special bilingual Eucharist service.
The Cross, which led King Charles III's Coronation procession, marks the beginning of our Bangor 1500 celebrations - commemorating 1500 years since Saint Deiniol founded our cathedral.
The Archbishop of Wales Andrew John will preside. Bishop of Llandaff Mary Stallard will be our guest preacher.
Bishop of Bardsey David Morris and Canon Tracy Jones will officially receive the Cross of Wales on the Cathedral’s behalf during the service.
We look forward to welcoming you to this historic occasion in the life of our Cathedral and city.
