Cymun y Crism

Byddem yn dathlu’r Cymun arbennig yma gydag Archesgob Cherry ar ddydd Mercher 1af o Ebrill am 11am.
Cynhelir yr Offeren Crism ar ddydd Mercher yn ystod yr Wythnos Sanctaidd, 1af o Ebrill am 11am yng Nghadeirlan Bangor. Rydym yn annog pob offeiriad, diacon a gweinidogion lleyg trwyddedig i fynychu ac mae croeso cynnes i holl aelodau ein cynulleidfaoedd hefyd. Bydd cyfle i adnewyddu ein haddewidion a'n disgyblyddiaeth wrth i ni gerdded gyda Iesu yn ystod yr wythnos sanctaidd hon.
Gwahoddir clerigion a gweinidogion lleyg i arwisgo – offeiriaid a diaconiaid mewn alb a stôl gwyn, LLMs mewn casog, gwenwisg a sgarff – ac i aros ar ôl y gwasanaeth am ginio bwffe. Gwahoddir aelodau'r gynulleidfa hefyd i ddod ar gyfer y gwasanaeth ac ar gyfer y cinio bwffe. Gyda'n gilydd fel Eglwys Dduw byddwn yn cael y cyfle i fyfyrio ac ymrwymo eto i gymryd ein croes a dilyn Iesu ar hyd ffordd y groes.
Mae'n bwysig iawn bod gennym niferoedd cywir ar gyfer y gwasanaeth a'r cinio bwffe. Cysylltwch â veritysterling@churchinwales.org.uk os gwelwch yn dda, PA esgob Bangor i gadarnhau:
- y byddwch chi'n mynychu
- a fyddwch chi'n arwisgo (ac yn eistedd gyda'r offeiriaid, diaconiaid a gweinidogion eraill
- os ydych yn bwriadu aros am ginio,
- ac o soes gennych unrhyw ofynion dietegol.
Mae croeso i aelodau'r gynulleidfa gysylltu â Verity yn uniongyrchol, ond os yw clerigion yn gwneud hyn ar ran plwyfolion, a allwn ni gael enwau a gofynion dietegol pawb sy'n mynychu os gwelwch yn dda?
Cysylltwch â'r wybodaeth hon erbyn dydd Llun 23 Mawrth 2026 fan bellaf fel bod amser i drefnu seddi yn y gwasanaeth a'r bwffe.
Os gwelwch yn dda, allwch chi hefyd gofio dod â chynwysyddion i'r olew gan nad oes gan yr Eglwys Gadeiriol unrhyw sbâr i'r rhai sy'n anghofio!
We will be joining Archsbishop Cherry to celebrate this special service on Wednesday 1st April at 11am in the Cathedral.
Chrism Mass will take place on the Wednesday of Holy Week, 1st of April at 11am in Bangor Cathedral. We encourage all priests, deacons and licensed lay ministers to attend and there is a warm welcome for all members of our congregations. There will be an opportunity to renew our vows and promises as we walk with Jesus in this holiest of weeks.
Clergy and LLMs are invited to robe – priests and deacons in alb and white stole, LLMs in cassock, surplice and scarf – and to stay on after the service for a buffet lunch. Congregation members are also warmly invited to come for the service and for the buffet lunch. Together as the Church of God we will have the opportunity to pause and reaffirm our commitment to take up our own cross and follow him.
It is very important that we have accurate numbers for the service and the buffet lunch. Please contact veritysterling@churchinwales.org.uk the bishop of Bangor’s PA to confirm:
- that you will be attending
- whether you will be robing (i.e. and sit together with other priests, deacons and LLMs)
- whether you intend to stay for lunch and, if so
- whether you have any dietary requirements.
Congregation members are welcome to contact Verity directly, but If clergy are doing this on behalf of parishioners, could we please have the names and dietary requirements of everyone attending?
Please get in touch with this information by Monday 23rd March 2026 at the latest so that there is time to organise seating at the service and the buffet.
