Mererid Morgan-Williams
Magwyd Mererid ym mhentref Pencarreg yn Sir Gâr cyn treulio cyfnod yn Lerpwl a Burton-on-Trent. Symudodd i Gaerdydd yn y nawdegau lle parhaodd ei gyrfa rheoli gweinyddol. Dechreuodd weithio mewn ysgol gynradd fel cynorthwyydd ar ôl i’w mab gyrraedd oedran meithrin cyn cychwyn rôl weinyddol o fewn yr ysgol. Cyn symud i Ogledd Cymru at gynefin ei gŵr roedd ganddi flynyddoedd o brofiad fel Swyddog Arholiadau mewn ysgol uwchradd yng Nghaerdydd.
Tu allan i’r gwaith mae Mererid yn hoff iawn o goginio, mynychu bwytai a threulio amser efo’i theulu. Mae’n angerddol am wlad Groeg lle mae wedi teithio’n eang ers iddi fod yn blentyn. Yn anffodus nid yw ei hymdrechion i ddysgu’r iaith wedi bod yn llwyddiannus - hyd yn hyn.
Mererid Morgan-Williams
Mererid grew up in the village of Pencarreg in Carmarthenshire before spending time in Liverpool and Burton-on-Trent. She moved to Cardiff in the nineties where she continued her administrative management career. She started working in a primary school as an assistant after her son reached nursery age before starting an administrative role within the school. Before moving to North Wales to live closer to her husband's family she had years of experience as an Examinations Officer at a secondary school in Cardiff.
Outside of work, Mererid enjoys cooking, going to restaurants and spending time with her family. She is passionate about Greece where she has traveled widely since she was a child. Unfortunately her attempts to learn the language have not been successful - yet.
