Apêl daeargryn Haiti
Dros yr wythnos ddiwethaf hon, bu i ddaeargryn pwerus daro Haiti, ac yna lifogydd a chwymp tiroedd o ganlyniad i Storm Drofannol Grace.
Mae'r dioddefaint yno yn aruthrol.
Mae Esgob Bangor wedi annog pobl ledled yr esgobaeth i gefnogi apêl daeargryn Haiti dan nawdd Cymorth Cristnogol.
Wrth ysgrifennu at eglwysi heddiw, dywedodd yr Esgob:
Mae ein cyfeillion yng Nghymorth Cristnogol ar lawr gwlad yn Haiti yn darparu lloches frys, bwyd, dŵr yfed a gofal iechyd.A gaf i annog cymaint ohonom â phosibl, fel unigolion a theuluoedd, a hefyd fel Cynghorau Ardaloedd Gweinidogaeth, i ystyried cefnogi apêl frys Cymorth Cristnogol.
Boed inni hefyd gynnal gwaith Cymorth Cristnogol a holl bobl Haiti yn ein gweddïau.
Haiti earthquake appeal
Over this past week, Haiti has been struck by a powerful earthquake, and by flash floods and mudslides as a result of Tropical Storm Grace.
The suffering there is immense.
The Bishop of Bangor has encouraged people across the diocese to support Christian Aid's Haiti earthquake appeal.
Writing to churches today, the Bishop said:
Our friends from Christian Aid are on the ground in Haiti providing emergency shelter, food, drinking water and access to healthcare.
May I encourage as many of us as possible, both as individuals and families, and also as Ministry Area Councils, to consider supporting Christian Aid’s emergency appeal.
Please also keep Christian Aid’s work and the people of Haiti in your prayers.
