Ar ran esgobaeth Bangor, hoffwn fynegi fy nhristwch dwfn am farwolaeth drasig y pedwar bachgen yn eu harddegau a ganfuwyd yn farw yn eu car yng Ngogledd Cymru. Mae'n dorcalonnus bod bywydau y pedwar bachgen ifanc hyn wedi eu byrhau mewn dull mor drasig. Mae fy meddyliau a'm gweddïau gyda theuluoedd a ffrindiau Jevon, Harvey, Wilf a Hugo.
Rhoddodd y Parchedig Kim Williams, ficer eglwys yn yr ardal lle daethpwyd o hyd i'r cyrff, y deyrnged hon ar Facebook, "Heno rydyn ni'n gweddïo dros deuluoedd a ffrindiau pedwar person ifanc sydd wedi colli eu bywydau mewn modd trasig. Gweddïwn dros Jevon, Harvey, Wilf a Hugo, y daeth eu hantur yn y bywyd hwn i ben yn llawer rhy fuan, boed iddynt orffwys mewn heddwch.
"Rydym hefyd yn gweddïo dros ein gwasanaethau brys lleol, yr heddlu, ambiwlans, gwasanaeth tân a thimau achub y mynyddoedd a oedd wedi bod yn chwilio am y bechgyn."
Mae eglwysi yn yr ardal leol ar agor ar gyfer myfyrdod tawel a gweddi. Mae hyn yn cynnwys Eglwys y Santes Fair, Beddgelert, Eglwys Sant Cyngar, Borth y Gest ac Eglwys Santes Catrin, Cricieth.
Mae croeso i bawb gynnau cannwyll i Hugo, Harvey, Wilf a Jevon, a gweddïo dros eu teuluoedd, ffrindiau a phawb fydd yn eu colli.

Following news of the death of the four teenage boys in North Wales, the Bishop of Bangor and Archbishop of Wales Andrew John has issued the following statement:
“On behalf of the diocese of Bangor, I wish to express my deep sadness at the tragic death of the four teenage boys found dead in their car in North Wales. It is heartbreaking that the lives of these four young boys have been so tragically cut short.

The Reverend Kim Williams, ministers in the area where the bodies were found, posted this tribute on Facebook, “Tonight we are praying for the families and friends of four young people who have tragically lost their lives. We pray for Jevon, Harvey, Wilf and Hugo, who’s adventure in this life ended far too soon, may they rest in peace.
"We also pray for our local emergency services, the police, ambulance, fire service and search and rescue who had been searching for the boys.”
Churches in the local area are open for quiet reflection and prayer, including St Mary’s Church, Beddgelert, St Cyngar’s Church, Borth y Gest and St Catherine’s Church, Cricieth.
All are welcome to light a candle for Hugo, Harvey, Wilf and Jevon, and pray for their families, friends and all who will miss them.
