Siôn Rhys Evans

Yn dilyn magwraeth ar Ynys Môn, dechreuodd waith Siôn dros yr Eglwys mewn nifer o blwyfi Anglicanaidd yng nghanol Llundain. Yn ddiweddarach, fe wasanaethodd fel Ysgrifennydd Cyffredinol Cytûn, sefydliad ecwmenaidd cenedlaethol Cymru, cyn cael ei benodi yn rhan o dîm cydlynu cenedlaethol yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd ym Mhrydain. Yno, bu’n gyfrifol am ddatblygiad gweinidogaethol, addysg ddiwinyddol a sawl prosiect rhwydwaith mewnol arwyddocaol, yng nghyd-destun newid corfforaethol sylweddol. Dychwelodd Siôn i Ogledd Cymru fel Ysgrifennydd yr Esgobaeth yn niwedd 2013.

Siôn Rhys Evans

A native of Anglesey, Siôn’s work for the Church began in several central London Anglican parishes. He subsequently served as Assistant General Secretary of Cytûn, Wales’s national ecumenical organisation, before taking up an appointment within the national coordinating team of the Methodist Church in Britain. There he was responsible for ministerial development, theological education and several significant infrastructure projects, within a context of significant organisational change. Siôn returned to north Wales as Diocesan Secretary at the end of 2013.
