Sul y Greadigaeth
Ioan 1:1-4
Ymlonyddu gyda'n gilydd
1. Goleuwch gannwyll.
2. Darllenwch:
A dywedodd Duw, "Bydded goleuni." A bu goleuni. Gwelodd Duw fod y goleuni yn dda; a gwahanodd Duw y goleuni oddi wrth y tywyllwch. A bu hwyr a bu bore, y dydd cyntaf.
Genesis 1:3-5
Dyma’r dydd y gweithredodd yr Arglwydd; gorfoleddwn a llawenhawn ynddo.
Salm 118:24
Trafod gyda'n gilydd
Os oeddech chi wedi gwneud bocs gweddi ychydig wythnosau'n ôl ac wedi ychwanegu pethau rydych wedi dysgu am Dduw, edrychwch ynddo nawr. Beth ydych chi wedi’i ychwanegu?
Os nad oeddech chi wedi gwneud bocs gweddi, trafodwch gyda’ch gilydd beth rydych chi wedi’i ddysgu am Dduw yn ystod yr wythnos diwethaf.
Darllen gyda'n gilydd
Un o’r enwau mae pobl yn ei ddefnyddio am Iesu yw ‘y Gair’. Mae’r darlleniad hwn o Efengyl Ioan i gyd am Iesu.
Y Gair oedd yn bod ar y dechrau cyntaf. Roedd y Gair gyda Duw, a Duw oedd y Gair. Roedd gyda Duw o'r dechrau cyntaf un. Drwyddo y crëwyd popeth sy'n bod. Does dim yn bodoli ond beth greodd e. Ynddo fe roedd bywyd, a'r bywyd hwnnw'n rhoi golau i bobl.
Ioan 1:1-4
Myfyrio gyda'n gilydd
Ymhen ychydig wythnosau, bydd y Grawys yn dechrau. Mae rhai bobl yn disgrifio’r Grawys fel taith. Taith tuag at y Pasg. Taith gydag Iesu. Yn ystod y daith byddwn yn edrych ar 6 o bethau anhygoel y dywedodd Iesu amdano ei hun.
Gyda phwy ydych chi’n mynd ar deithiau?
Os byddwn yn mynd ar daith gyda rhywun, mae’n rhaid i ni fod yn gwybod y byddwn yn ddiogel efo nhw, ein bod yn gallu ymddiried ynddyn nhw.
Allwn ni ymddiried yn Iesu? Beth ydych chi’n wybod am Iesu sy’n eich helpu i ymddiried ynddo?
Beth sy’n eich cyffroi am Dduw?
Sut wnaeth y darlleniad i chi feddwl am Iesu? A yw ‘y Gair’ yn rhywun rydych chi eisiau ei gael i fynd ar daith?
Mae mynd ar daith yn antur, yn gyffrous. Ond, mae mynd ar antur gyda Duw hyd yn oed yn well! Ydych chi’n barod i fynd ar y daith honno?
Gweddio gyda'n gilydd
Ydych chi’n dal dwylo gyda rhywun wrth fynd am dro? Fyddwch chi’n dal dwylo gydag Iesu?
Ewch am dro gyda’ch gilydd. Treuliwch ychydig o amser yn dal dwylo. Sut mae’n teimlo i ddal llaw rhywun?
Mae yna stori hyfryd am fachgen a’i fam yn croesi afon. Roedd y bachgen ofn felly dywedodd ei fam wrtho am ddal ei llaw. Atebodd y bachgen, “Na. Daliwch chi fy llaw i.” Gofynnodd ei fam iddo beth oedd y gwahaniaeth. Atebodd y bachgen, “Os ydw i'n dal eich llaw chi ac mae rhywbeth drwg yn digwydd, efallai bydda i’n gollwng fy ngafael. Ond, os byddwch chi’n dal fy llaw i, rwy’n gwybod na fyddwch byth yn gollwng gafael.”
Diolch Iesu, dy fod yn dal ein llaw a’n bod ni’n ddiogel gyda thi.
Diolch dy fod gyda ni trwy’r amser.
Helpa ni i gofio’r holl bethau anhygoel rwyt wedi’u gwneud ac i gael ein cyffroi wrth weld mwy o deyrnas Dduw wrth i ni baratoi i deithio gyda’n gilydd.
Amen
Gorffen gyda'n gilydd
Bydded i Dduw, ffynhonnell gobaith, eich llenwi â phob llawenydd a thangnefedd wrth ichwi arfer eich ffydd, nes eich bod, trwy nerth yr Ysbryd Glân, yn gorlifo â gobaith.
Diffoddwch y gannwyll.

John 1:1-4
Stilling together
1. Light a candle.
2. Read:
God said, "Let there be light," and there was light, and God saw the light was good, and he separated light from darkness. So evening came, and morning came; it was the first day.
Genesis 1: 3-5
This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118: 24
Discussing together
If you made a prayer box a few weeks ago and have added the things you’ve learnt about God to it, have a look at it now. What have you added?
If you didn’t make a prayer box, talk together about what you’ve learnt about God this past week.
Reading together
One of the names that people use for Jesus is ‘the Word’. This reading from John’s Gospel is all about Jesus.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
John 1:1-4
Reflecting together
In a few weeks’ time Lent will begin. Some people describe Lent as a journey. A journey towards Easter. A journey with Jesus. During the journey we will look at 6 amazing things that Jesus said about himself.
Who do you go on journeys with?
If we’re going on a journey with someone, we need to know that we are safe with them, that we can trust them.
Can we trust Jesus? What do you know about Jesus that helps you to trust him?
What makes you excited about God?
What did the reading make you think about Jesus? Is ‘the Word’ someone you want to go on a journey with?
Going on a journey, an adventure, is exciting. But, going on an adventure with God is even better! Are you ready for that journey?
Praying together
Do you hold hands with someone when you go for a walk? Would you hold hands with Jesus?
Go for a walk together. Spend some time holding hands. How does it feel to hold someone’s hand?
There’s a lovely story about a boy and his mum crossing a river. The boy was scared so his mum told him to hold her hand. The boy answered, “No. You hold my hand.” His mum asked what the difference was. The boy replied, “If I hold your hand and something bad happens I might let go. But, if you hold my hand I know that you will never let me go.”
Thank you Jesus, that you hold our hand and that we are safe with you.
Thank you that you are with us all the time.
Help us to remember all the amazing things you have done and to be excited to see more of God’s kingdom as we prepare to journey together.
Amen
Finishing together
The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may overflow with hope.
Blow out the candle.
